There’s an argument that the two teams left in the playoffs are the nastiest and toughest in the NHL. Everyone was well aware of the Florida Panthers' frightening, even borderline dangerous, physicality. The Edmonton Oilers have nearly caught up with a gritty and vengeful roster of their own. This isn’t stale, old-school hockey mentality. It’s an effective and successful style that’s been proven year after year. To the teams who choose to ignore it, good luck trying to complete 16 wins over a brutal two months.
