Not long ago, I was standing in line at the pharmacy, scrolling through articles before a game. First, I checked X (formerly Twitter), and for every Knights story, there were about 20 other posts unrelated to hockey, the NHL, or the Knights.
Then I went to Facebook, and it was the same story. I had to scroll past 20 posts about politics, children's plays, and cats just to find one about the Knights. Why was it so hard to find news about just the Knights?
Frustrated, I went home and started thinking about how to get exactly what I wanted: fresh, regularly updated news on the Knights, all in one place. I wanted to be able to access the latest news and updates about the Knights without sifting through irrelevant content.
VGK FanZone is the result of that idea. I also have a few other concepts I'm working on that I hope to incorporate soon. I hope you enjoy the site and find it useful. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please feel free to contact me.
