Jets add pair of forwards

The Winnipeg Jets' first swings in free agency brought a pair of wingers into the organization. On Tuesday afternoon, the Jets added Cole Koepke and Tanner Pearson on one-year deals worth $1 million. Koepke is a feisty forward who had 10 goals, 17 points and 162 hits in 73 games with the Boston Bruins last season, while Pearson had 12 goals and 27 points in 78 games with the Vegas Golden Knights. Koepke was originally chosen in the sixth round by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2018 NHL Draft, while Pearson was chosen in the first round (30th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2012 NHL Draft.
