The Vegas Golden Knights have announced the launch of the region's newest hockey league for high school-aged players. According to Tuesday's announcement, the Vegas Golden Knights High School Hockey League (VGKHSHL) will be a co-ed league open to teenagers born between 2008 and 2011. "It's been a longtime goal of our organization to give high school athletes the opportunity to represent the areas where they live," Darren Eliot, the team's senior vice president of hockey programming and facility operations, said in a statement.
