Heading into the third period of Tuesday’s Game 1 matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Edmonton Oilers needed a spark. Sixteen minutes later, Zach Hyman scored the game-winner as he skated into the high slot and fired a bullet that zipped past Golden Knights goaltender Adin Hill glove-side — the third of four Oilers’ unanswered goals. Hyman’s goal, his third of the playoffs, also helped Edmonton make some NHL history as it became the first team in NHL history with five consecutive comeback wins in a single postseason.
