Hamden's Jonathan Quick became the first American-born goaltender to win 400 career NHL games as the New York Rangers beat the Vegas Golden Knight 4-2 on Sunday. Quick is the 15th goalie overall to reach 400 wins in NHL history. Quick, the 2002 New Haven Register All-Area Ice Hockey Team member, had 13 saves in the third period, 14 in the second and seven in the third. The 39-year old became one of 15 goaltenders to accomplish this feat, and is the fourth to play for the Rangers, joining Henrik Lundqvist, Terry Sawchuk and Jacques Plante.
