Schmid and 22-year-old rookie Carl Lindbom rotated back and forth for each of the next nine games. The Golden Knights played just one back-to-back during that span, so it seemed like Bruce Cassidy and goalie coach Sean Burke were running a bit of an audition. Well, the audition is over.
