Trent Swick has been celebrating, of late. One the ice, the Kitchener Rangers forward helped the team take three of a possible four points on the weekend with a 4-3 overtime win against the Sarnia Sting Friday at the Aud before losing a 3-2 squeaker in a shootout to the Attack in Owen Sound on Saturday. In between the games, on Saturday afternoon, Vegas Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon announced that the NHL team had signed the six-foot-seven, 220-pound winger to a three-year entry level contract. Putting pen to paper was a big deal for the Thorold native, especially since he was bypassed twice in the NHL draft before the Golden Knights selected him in the sixth-round last year.
